We've been full-timing in our coach for 7 months and this is one of the nicest resorts we have been to. All sites are very spacious, the grounds are very well kept, a lot of planning went into the development of this park. We were initially here for one week, but ended up staying for 17 days. We stayed in 3 different sites, all lake front and one of the sites had a private hot tub. The hot tub was great, we thoroughly enjoyed it! There is a 1 mile paved trail around the lake, great for the dog! The staff are very friendly and helpful. If you're looking for a park in the Myrtle Beach area, but want to be away from the hustle and bustle, this is the place (about 20 minutes from the beach). There are some snowbirds here, but mostly travelers (even the long term guests have their sites well taken care of). We'll definitely stay here again!
This RV Resort is wonderful. We stayed here in the fall, during their quiet season, they were almost closing. So the park was very quiet. If you stay here, expect a very clean park, well spaced sites, accommodates big rigs and is pet friendly. Although we didn't use the bathrooms, they appeared very clean, as was the laundry room. On the Saturday night here, they had live music playing in the park which was wonderful! The park staff and owners were all very friendly and helpful. Only caution, do not drive here in the dark, the signs are small and hard to read and the small country roads make it difficult to navigate in a big rig in the dark. In the daylight, it's very easy to find the park. We'd definitely stay here again!
Camping in a big rig, it's rare to find an RV Park with trees that we can confidently pull into. This park is well maintained, trees are taken care of in order to accommodate big rigs. The owners go above and beyond, very helpful and friendly. Internet worked well. We'd definitely stay here again and will recommend to all friends and family!
We stayed here during the fall season, they were just about closing the campground, so it was very quiet. We had an oceanfront site, gorgeous! It appears that if it were during the busy season, the sites would be very close together. The office staff were friendly, the internet worked well, the laundry room was clean and St. Andrews is a beautiful location! We had only planned to stay 2 nights, but stayed a week! You can watch the tide come in and go out twice a day from your RV. Their website indicates the park is run by the Kiwanis Club, but in fact, the Kiwanis Club has contracted out the management of the park to a very friendly couple. We'd stay here again.
